Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

A Basis administrator is responsible for the technical management and maintenance of an SAP environment. Their responsibilities include:

  • Daily management: Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the environment
  • System upgrades: Planning and executing system upgrades, data migrations, and software updates
  • Technical support: Providing technical support for SAP systems
  • System performance: Monitoring and optimizing system performance
  • Technical documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documents and procedures
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other teams to design, implement, and manage SAP systems
  • Change management: Participating in change management process


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration
