IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Technology Solution Delivery, GPS SLED, .net Cloud Application Developer (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1520185), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Sacramento, CA.

Provide consulting services to assist State, Local and Education clients implement new ideas to help achieve their mission outcomes. Deliver cloud solutions to the government sector. Design and develop software components and services that interact with upstream and downstream components. Analyze and define client requirements for the development and enhancement of business applications. Use Agile development methodologies and supporting processes, making modifications to improve as needed. Design and develop applications, technology interfaces and bridges. Integrate data and functions across application programs, testing to confirm proper functioning. Oversee the development of guidelines and documentation for all major activities. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness and quality of delivery activities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience working with one or a combination of any of the following: Java, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, MSSQL, CosmosDB, or Visual Studio.

Must have 4 years of experience with application software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment services.

Must have 3 years of experience with at least one of the following pipeline tools: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, Circle CI, or Travis CI.

Must have 3 years of experience in at least one of the following public cloud environments: Azure, AWS or GCP.

Must have 3 years of experience designing and implementing microservices in a cloud environment with one or a combination of any of the following: Service Fabric, Kubernetes Services, Serverless Functions, and/or API Management.

Must have 2 years of experience using Agile system development methodologies.

Must have 3 years of experience in DevOps best practices and implementing them.

Must have 2 years of experience managing teams or leading teams in development.

Requires domestic travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
