Responsibilities:
- Proficient use of BIM technology including file interoperability and information exchange process
- Resolve issues related to any or all of these: Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Navisworks & Revit); Innovyse applications (now Autodesk Infowater solutions): Infoworks ICM, WS Pro; Microdrainage (Now Infodrainage), etc.
- Research, verify, and document product defects. Provide alternative solutions when problems are observed & cannot be fixed immediately
- Document the solution to the issues in short and clear articles with snapshots for our Knowledge Base in a company-wide case management system
- Priority handling and escalation of critical issues and monitoring of service level compliance. Perform Triage of issue to make sure it is in the correct support queue
- Perform root cause analysis to mitigate recurrence. Escalate customer issues to senior staff or Vendor if required
Here's what you'll need
- 3 years of industry working experience
- Knowledge of BIM Standards and workflows. Experience in the configuration and interoperability of AutoCAD/Microstation products with ProjectWise or BIM 360 will be highly desirable
- Willingness to work in shifts to match project demands & support Projects in Australia, India Europe & Americas regions
- Identify workflow issues if a user could perform the ask with another tool or method to produce a similar result
- Experience in the configuration of CAD standard for a large enterprise, (maintaining standard CAD profiles, CAD Templates, Block Libraries, Content Libraries etc.)
Nice to have:
- Experience with LISP, VBA, .NET, Dynamo is also desirable. Ideally you may have a mindset or desire to self Learning skills like Programming
- Cloud experience – Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 administration
- Clarify assignments, prioritise work and attend to detail to ensure work is done
- Take on new opportunities and tough challenges and enthusiasm
- Stay up to date with industry trends
- Learn through experimentation when solving new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities
