Job Description
You have a strong background in software engineering,intellectually curious and a self-starter.
As an Information Technology Engineer, you will play a key role within the team. You will be working closely with our technical leads, other software engineers, product managers and solution architects, both within and across teams.
You will join our Clinical Trial Data Management Product Line that focuses on technology and process simplification and innovation to:
Improve the clinical trial experience for our patients.
Improve efficiency of study start up by reducing the time from study initiation to first site ready.
Remove obstacles and enable our business users to focus on what matters.
Your responsibilities:
Own the key software engineering deliverables. Code, tests and documentation.
Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to remove obstacles and tackle challenges that arise in complex technology landscapes.
Partner with our Research Laboratories to harness the power of technology to reimagine and accelerate how we conduct clinical trials and bring the management of the clinical trial data to the level, where data flow seamlessly from patients to submission readiness.
Innovation and Technology-Driven Solutions: Work with innovative IT technologies and platforms, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare.
Your Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience
1-2 years relevant work experience in technology including areas such as cloud deployment & integration, data engineering
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Strong software engineering and programming background in Python and other programming languages
Understanding of DevOps processes and related tools including, but not limited to Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
Experience in Agile development methodologies and release management techniques
Experience in test automation frameworks, e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.
Ability to produce high quality technical documentation
Experience with software performance optimization
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of the Clinical Trials domain from the data collection and management perspective
Experience with GxP validations, System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or working with SaaS and COTS vendors.
