EY Leadership Development Operations Change Management Lead

Your key responsibilities

  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of leadership development projects and key initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Supporting leads across the leadership development function as well as learning in general to develop materials and deliver upon projects
  • Leading change management initiatives related to leadership development, including stakeholder communication, training, and support to facilitate smooth transitions
  • Providing insight and support to ensure that new and existing programs are adaptable to change and can be implemented effectively within project timelines
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on project goals and change initiatives
  • Identifying potential risks associated with leadership development projects and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Establishing metrics and deploy measurement programs not only for program effectiveness but also for project success, including timelines, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Working with the Leadership Development Leader to manage resources effectively to support project delivery, including team assignments, budget management, external vendor coordination, and resource allocation
  • Working with communication resources to develop and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and outcomes
  • Supporting the common leadership language and the holistic leadership development offerings
  • Ensuring alignment of leadership development journeys and learning initiatives with organizational goals and employee aspirations
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders (EY Global, other EY US Talent functions and business leaders etc.) to understand leadership development initiatives’ impact on talent and identify leadership development journey improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with direct team and others to gather information, analyze and develop informed recommendations to advise on prioritization or actions Lead and develop Leadership Development operations team
  • Developing team members and counselees
  • Coordinate with L&D operations team
  • Given interactions with Global teams and multiple timezones, may need to work/conduct calls/meetings at non-standard hours. Some travel may be required
  • Overtime expected but varies depending on deadlines

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ability to develop and leverage relationships with various stakeholders to understand Leadership Development proficiency/journey needs and develop appropriate project and change plans
  • Experience developing recommendations for strategic direction and/or ability to assist in problem solving
  • Proactively anticipates problems before they occur, defines the problems, and identifies the possible/apparent causes
  • Ability to make key decisions and suggestions (with appropriate input) based on a solid understanding of firm and business objectives and needs analysis and own experience/knowledge
  • Demonstrates creative and independent thinking to develop strategy and next steps, including leveraging resources and tools effectively to drive participation, with continuing enhancements
  • Leverages effective project and change management techniques to help advance initiatives and achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to lead, adapt quickly to change, build consensus across diverse, often global, groups, and organize, direct, and motivate teams
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on the firm’s culture and values
  • Ability to manage multiple large, complex projects, processes and/or initiatives
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation/mediation and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of leadership and talent development strategy, programs and prepared to keep up with latest developments, including the factors that may impact EY, the practice and its markets, particularly in the area of skill development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as listening and interpretation skills
  • Understanding of EY organization including the respective practices and functions
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong visual storytelling and presentation skills. Ability to leverage data to support key messages
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills

To qualify you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • At least 10 plus years’ experience in a professional, office environment and minimum of 5 years in a leadership development environment preferred
  • Proven track record of creating and executing leadership development strategy and programs within a complex business environment, with proven results
  • Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior-level stakeholders

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $134,200 to $258,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $161,000 to $293,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
