Key Responsibilities

  • Intermediate Representation Interface: Design and integrate the IR interface between front-end components and the Intel graphics compiler.

  • Optimizer: Design and develop optimization algorithms to improve compiler performance and efficiency.

  • Generated Code Analysis: Analyze compiler-generated code to identify inefficiencies and propose optimizations or hardware enhancements to address performance issues.

  • Architecture Research: Collaborate with hardware architects to collect data and evaluate advanced features for future Intel Graphics processors.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS. degree in computer science, electrical computer engineering, or STEM

  • 2+ yearswith a MS C/C++ programming experienceandcompiler development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree incomputer science, electrical computer engineering, or STEM

  • 1+ years of:

    • Familiarity with compiler optimizations, front-end translation and back-end code generation

    • Familiarity with computer and graphics architecture

    • Familiarity with GPGPU programming model

    • Knowing LLVM infrastructure is a big plus
