Responsibilities
As a Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting security initiatives in your assigned territory. Your main tasks will include:
Assisting in the planning and management of security accounts across different regions.
Helping to identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as CISOs, to promote the value of Microsoft's security platform.
Understanding customer budgets, timelines, and buying processes.
Learning about customer cloud and security projects, as well as the competitive landscape, to identify gaps and opportunities.
Demonstrating and explaining cloud security solutions and relevant security architecture to customers.
Collaborating with a virtual team to deliver value from discovery to demonstrating business benefits.
Working with security partners to speed up the sales process and ensure a smooth deployment plan.
Performing basic ROI and TCO analysis to build a strong business case for customers.
Aiming to exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets and other sales goals.
Keeping sales records up to date with accurate forecasting and deal updates in the sales CRM.
