Palo Alto Networks's Prisma Access group is looking for a seasoned and accomplished engineer with experience in developing Application Edge Platform for Secure Access Service Edge(SASE). You will be part of a world-class software engineering team that works on various ground-breaking technologies. You will work with a multi-functional team of engineers to design and develop Application Acceleration software with cloud based management, monitoring and analytics.
Your Impact
- Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features
- Participate in architecture, design and development Application Acceleration software
- Research and implement different frameworks suited to the solution
- Work with different development and quality assurances groups to achieve the best quality
- Suggest and implement improvements to the development processes
- Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
Your Experience
- Strong understanding of HTTP 1.1/2.0, TLS and DNS protocols
- Experience in developing high performance distributed software applications
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms for large scale systems
- Strong proficiency in Golang and Python
- Experience in Redis, Influx DB, Elastic Search
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols
- 10+ years of experience in developing software applications with Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $170,000/yr to $275,000/yr.
