As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

The work scope includes but not limit to:

  • Qualcomm Wearable/Robotics/Drone reference platform development.

  • Linux fundamental feature design and development like bootloader, kernel.

  • Linux kernel Modules development and maintain like CPU/MM/Clock/DT/Storage/Memory/PCIE/Ethernet/peripheral drivers/device trees

  • Co-work with global teams to identify issues and fix bugs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with C, Assembly Language

  • Experience with ftrace debug, JTAG debug, perf debug, GDB debug,

  • Comprehensive understanding of Linux memory, Scheduler, Lock, Block device driver

  • Understand ARM CPU instructions and architecture

  • Experience with Android/Linux software design

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with python/shell/c++ is a plus.

  • Familiar with Robotics product is a plus.

  • Familiar with Android OS is a plus.
