This position is part of the Digital Workplace Quality Engineering department. As a Software Developer for the QE team, you will be responsible for the following:
• Design testing solutions to address testing needs for software solutions
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for testing
• Maintain and debug automated test scripts
• Proficient in PowerShell, Java, Selenium, and testing Desktop applications
• Working knowledge in Karate/Karate robot, HTML, DOM, Xpath, CSS, XML and JSONThis position will cover areas like automation of Hardware and Software driver updates for Desktop Engineering, automation testing of SharePoint/OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange/Outlook, E-Signature, Content Manager, etc. Additionally, you will be creating new automated test cases and working with existing manual test cases where you will be responsible for producing ways to automate them utilizing the various development tools currently being used. At times it might be necessary to think outside the box to produce creative solutions for automation testing even to the point of using an application that we have not considered. You will also be assisting with automating manual testing currently being done by the team. This will enable the team and thus PNC to save time and resources while helping deliver better quality products to the enterprise.
