As a Sr Advanced Application Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met. You will work out of our Northford, CT location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our support processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to provide advanced engineering support for projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency
The salary range for this position is $115K-$145K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum 6 years of experience in advanced engineering support or related roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE
- Experience with Hospitality Energy Management Systems
- Understanding of basic electrical wiring diagrams
- Software Application Engineering experience, including system integrations
- Good understanding of HVAC controls including PTAC, FCU, VRV/VRF and RTU
