Job Description

(CGAI) is looking for a GPU Performance Validation Engineer to develop performance tests to measure key Architectural metrics across our Graphics IPs. These tests are crucial in measuring the accuracy of our graphics performance simulators, RTL/emulation models, and silicon; and help identify unexpected bottlenecks in our HW IPs and SW/Driver.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Development, Delivery, and Execution of Performance Test Content
  • Accurate measurement and post-processing of key performance statistics across multiple environments
  • Development of automated triage scripts to assist in performance bottleneck analysis
  • Working with Architecture/Design teams to debug and resolve any performance test failures.
  • Creation of detailed indicator charts showing current health and long-term trends of our models

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 1+ years' experience of programming skills in C++, Python, or Ruby Languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ months of experince in any of the items below:

  • Computer Architecture/Design
  • 3D/Computer Graphics architecture and technology.
  • Graphics Design, Validation, and Performance Analysis.
  • DirectX/OpenCL or other Graphics APIs
  • Explaining complex technical concepts.
  • Data analysis and debugging.
