Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high quality regulatory engagement with the supervision teams at the PRA and FCA through close proactive interaction, fulfilling regulatory obligations and execution of regulatory engagement activities in a consistent and coordinated manner.
  • Serve as a central contact point for UK regulators and Citi personnel engaging with them.
  • Provide support to Citi personnel with execution of regulatory engagement activities through guidance, strategic advice, driving consistent well-coordinated delivery, and execution of controls and processes.
  • Provide updates to management on regulatory engagement activities, emerging trends, and timely escalation of regulatory concerns.
  • Engage in the preparation, review and delivery of high quality and timely regulatory responses, including responses related to ongoing supervision and ad hoc queries.
  • Support execution of U.K. regulatory exams, interactions, and governance of supervisory related findings.
  • Lead preparation measures for regulatory meetings, including engaging with regulators to establish meeting agendas, production of briefing materials, talking points and preparation sessions with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including other Regulatory Management teams for certain activities involving non-UK regulators.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualification / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a finance, economics, accounting, or a science-based subject.
  • Experience within a large global universal/institutional bank, or a global financial institution, or a UK financial regulator, accountancy firm, or consultancy working on regulatory matters or topics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and operate in a global organization.
  • Ability influence and lead people, including at a senior level.
  • Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners.
  • Awareness of UK regulatory requirements and expectations
