In this position, you will have the chance toexplore and define future aspects of our architectures that bring together NVIDIA GPUs, custom processors and accelerators into a single chip. As a student you will be focusing new features modeling pre and post silicon data generation and analysis for power and performance optimizations you will work with our SOC architects, software, ASIC design, verification, physical design, VLSI and platform teams. Our SoC architects excel at pushing the state of the art, while making the best engineering trade-offs.


What you’ll be doing:

  • System C/C++ model development and validation. For Early SW development and verification Reference

  • Perform performance, perf @ watt,and powermodellingandanalysisto optimize our architecture

  • Post-Silicon production support with silicon debug

  • Post silicon analysis for performance and power optimization

  • Collaborate closely with our SoC Architects to understand and initiate efficiency improvements.

  • Understand and analyse the interplay of hardware and software architectures on future algorithms and applications.

  • Programming experience and proficiency in Python, C/C++, and familiar with Linux developing environment.

  • Self motivated with ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Fluent in English reading and writing.

  • Patenting novel parts of system architecture

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a MsC or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • System C or C++and pythondevelopment skills, or relevant programming experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability & desire to work as a great teammate.

  • Excellent analytical, and verbal interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience and/or theoretical knowledge in accelerated computing, machine learning, NLP, AIGC, LLM, AI4S, etc

  • Experience in CUDA and deep learning frameworks (i.e TensorFlow or PyTorch).

  • Proficiency with Python and data analysis packages like: Pandas, NumPy.
