Description
This includes front-end architecture, and component specification. Build and design RF line-up spreadsheets and modeling. Perform characterization, design optimization and failure analysis. They will work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups such as antenna design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering. The role will required international travel to support product development as needed (15%).
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Good understanding of RF Fundamentals, Radio architectures, RF component and circuit integration into consumer products
  • Working experience with RF measurement equipments such as Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers
  • Must be an excellent communicator, both written and oral
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Fluent in one or more connectivity wireless system like WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB or NFC
  • Familiarity with one or more simulation and design tools such as ADS, HFSS or MATLAB
  • Experience with circuit schematic capture/layout
  • Experience in writing basic software routines and test scripts
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
