Qualifications
- 6+ years of industry experience in data science with a BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent.
- Proficient in SQL, Hive, SparkSQL, and programming languages such as Python and/or R, Tableau, and familiarity with Databricks, AWS ecosystem of tools is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical techniques, supervised/unsupervised ML paradigms, and hands-on expertise in deep learning and NLP techniques.
- Experience in building end-to-end reusable data pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery and insight generation.
- Skilled in identifying where data can most impact communicating findings and recommendations to partner teams and drive discussions.
- Quick learner and adaptable, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills and a proven ability to influence business leaders.
