As a Senior Program Manager within our Strategic Program Managment org. on our Cloud Innovation Program Management () team, you will be responsible for working directly with numerous internal and external teams across theorganization, including Microsoft Engineering Groups, global capacity and deployment planning teams, real estate and datacenter industry experts, engineering, operations, security, risk design and execution pillars. You will serve a critical role to harness disparate work streams across the key stakeholders and develop mature and repeatable processes.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • PMP Certification OR Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in an Agile environment

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

  • Collaborate across groups within CO+I and across the company to deliver results.
  • Oversee multiple projects and/or programs working across multiple internal and external teams to ensure they are successfully delivered in accordance with established requirements, timelines and within budget.
  • Document and improve work processes to make workflow more efficient and productive.
  • Acts as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize managed programs via meetings, presentations, and other forums.
