As a Hardware Compliance Technical Program Manager, you will drive end to end compliance activities on Amazon products. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team to drive key aspects of compliance including product scoping, execution, test and certification.
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for creating the compliance project plan, including the schedule, and ensuring timely completion of compliance deliverables. This position requires experience in FCC, CE and other worldwide international approval processes. You will engage with external certification bodies and testing labs to ensure product compliance with all country requirements. You will drive and motivate the cross-functional team to deliver the product(s) as per the agreed to requirements and cross functionally manage other internal team members. You will identify opportunities for process optimization and lead the creation of robust mechanisms.
Key job responsibilities
* Own and drive end-to-end program strategy, execution and risks to ensure successful launch of new products.
* Collaborate with HW Compliance Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Operations and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of the program.
* Ownership and delivery of key compliance documentation for international certification approval.
* Deliver programs in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and strong communication skills.
* Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with international approval/global market access and certification process.

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Deep understanding of new product introduction and hardware development processes.
- Proficiency with business applications (ex: Word, Excel, etc.) and cloud-based collaboration tools (ex: Confluence, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Experience with one or more of the compliance functional areas such as safety, regulatory, energy efficiency that applies to global certification requirements
