Key Responsibilities:
• Process requisitions, place purchase orders, expedite and track orders in support of Procurement and Operations
• Perform material planning activities for parts sourced from External suppliers.
• Maintain ERP material data as directed by Strategic Sourcing, maintain data integrity in One Source (Purchasing Database).
• Maintain and assure current order status information to keep supplier on-time to request info valid.
• Effectively expedite orders to prevent line down situations and air transportation costs. • Manage rescheduling of direct materials as required
• Resolve all invoice holds in a timely manner to prevent credit holds.
• Manage complaints to suppliers (delivery issues and/or quality)
• Be a driver in new product introduction initiatives and obsolescence management, tracking key milestones to enable successful execution of the program.
• Developing site sourcing strategy, sourcing/negotiations, global/regional budget execution and interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Leads supplier localization efforts in collaboration sourcing project plans and direction of Strategic Sourcing Manager for Transitions.
• Interfacing with Global Commodity Manager and aligning site strategy with Global Commodity Strategies
• Providing direction and developing strategic road maps with HPS global Sourcing leader
• Identifying appropriate cost reduction ideas to meet or exceed HPS one- and 5-year goals; & drive implementation
• Supporting Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) objectives on Cost reduction, Supply Chain Lead time reduction, working capital, and quality and delivery improvement.
• Lead/ support in-sourcing and out-sourcing strategies. Lead/ support transition of projects from other sites
• Manage and execute supplier and operational issues, including but not limited to engineering change management, contract maintenance, parts availability, quality and launch support.
• Use Honeywell tools and processes to drive fact-based decision making.
• Implement HPS standard Contract Terms and Conditions with suppliers
• Promote early supplier involvement of approved suppliers to optimize quality and produce ability at lowest cost per program requirements.
• Escalation points to resolve supplier performance issues.
• Ensure selected supply base is meeting HPS initiatives for cycle time reduction, productivity, quality and delivery. • Communicate any Transitions to the factory and receive buy-in for implementation timeline.
Must have: • Bachelor's in supply chain, Business, Logistics or Operations
• Minimum 1 year experience in managing global projects, NPI, PIPO,
• 5+ years of Procurement experience
• SAP Material Planning experience
• Minimum 1 year experience on Supplier VMI and productivity saving contracts.
