Please review the following job description:
Support wholesale credit risk through effective Portfolio Risk Monitoring, Issues Management, training and communications. Must be an independent thinker, responsible for proactive identification of new and recurring risks, to ensure proper risk mitigation and change management through the execution of assigned responsibilities for the Bank's second line of defense.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify and analyze trends in portfolio risk through interaction with Commercial/CIG and Credit Risk Teammates and assignments

2. Develop and implement training and/or communication related to credit risk initiatives such as changes in policy, procedures, and processes

3. Actively participate in working groups and collaborate with key line of business partners to improve and ensure successful execution of Commercial/CIG Credit Delivery and Credit Risk processes, including in-depth analysis of issues and requirements, business process design and documentation, system and technical solutions, assessment of impacts across internal departments and functions, and change management strategies

4. Serve as a subject-matter expert for wholesale credit risk processes to support Commercial/CIG and Credit Risk Teammates through change management, and ongoing once changes have been implemented

7. Ensure assignments are properly documented, tracked and reported as necessary. Identify and escalate potential risk to timeline and/or completion and determine appropriate steps to ensure success

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Accounting, or equivalent education and related training

2. Five years of banking experience in various commercial roles, or related experience

3. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints

4. Understanding of business credit processes

5. Strong independent thinking and decision-making skills

6. Strong organizational, interpersonal, critical thinking, communication, and facilitation skills

7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Completion of an MBA or bank training program

2. Lean Six Sigma Certification

3. Experience in business credit underwriting

4. Understanding of the Truist Credit Culture

5. Familiarity with Truist standard software packages
