- Specify technical requirements, design, build and operate software services and web applications that support data analytics workflows
- Lead projects developed by multiple engineers and deliver through others
- Define technology strategy and own system design and architecture

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, C#, C/C++, Python, etc.)
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)

Qualifications listed below will be helpful in this role but are not required. You will gain this experience working with us.- Experience working with AWS (e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Cloud Development Kit)
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, serverless applications, RESTful APIs, web applications
- Knowledge and experience with various processes in the full SDLC (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build systems, integration and deployment, maintenance, updates, etc.)
- Experience leading projects developed by multiple engineers and delivering through others
- Experience defining technology strategy and owning system design and architecture
