Your Role and Responsibilities At IBM, Technical Architects work to understand needs and create complex high-quality products that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the product from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes. What you will do (Roles & Responsibilities) :
You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap in line with business unit strategy.
You Should have analytical ability and creativity in anticipating trends, knowledge of leading-edge products/technology and industry in order to effectively participate on business unit and IBM Architectural Boards.
You are required to Keep the development community up-to-date about standards bodies and technologies that may be employed to create IBM’s products.
You will Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure and maintain the Product.
You will help navigate and mentor team members.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
12+ Years of strong development experience in cloud technologies with Broad technical understanding of the IBM Technology portfolio.
Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams.
Working knowledge on Linux, Virtualisation, containerisation technologies, containers orchestration software (Kubernetes and OpenShift) and cloud platforms.
Working knowledge on cloud services (Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Working knowledge on Development and operation of fully managed IaaS services.
Working knowledge on Cloud security.
Working knowledge on Python, C/C++, CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Artifactory
Working knowledge on Open-source software development and Open source tools like Git, GitHub
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in meaningful terms”

Strong teaming skills and proven leadership skills
Experience with IBM Z, z/OS, /zVM skills
Ability to understand and expand complex code and provide ideas for improvement.
Able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines in a high visibility environment while identifying and creating scope for new opportunities.
Should be able to assist the team with technical expertise whenever required.
Knowledge of one or more of the following, VMWare, Red Hat OpenShift, Virtual Server, Ansible, Terraform
