Job Description:

As aMachine Learning Scientist,you will work on various AI/ML applications such as entity resolution, consumer profiling, merchant classification, and more, to generate significant business impact across multiple domains.This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and fellow ML scientists.

Your day to day

As a Machine Learning Scientist you will be responsible for:

• Work with partners across the enterprise to release product enhancements and new features
• Build large scale (all PayPal transaction or logins!) end-to-end data products in close collaboration with our engineering partners
• Transform large amounts of complex data into business insights and solutions by using the latest technology in AI/ML

What do you need to bring-

• Data Science/Machine Learning engineering experience - must
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML and Data Science
• Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
• Code writing capabilities in any programming language (preferably Python) and familiarity with relevant ML packages
• Experience with deep learning

• GCP and big data experience
• Experience working with graph algorithms, text and GenAI – an advantage
• Team player, responsible, delivery-oriented, details-oriented
• Outstanding communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
