As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing standard and local hardware support for: Workstations, laptops, tablets, Zebra and HP Printers, servers, VMware, terminal servers and networking
- Providing standard and local software support for: VMware, Windows OS & MS Office suites, Lotus Notes DB and security software
- Maintaining site dashboards for computers, printers, servers, networking equipment, IT work tickets and PC/Server vulnerabilities
- Possessing Backup system knowledge for site data backup and disaster recovery needs
- Responding to after-hours support calls maximizing site related resource uptime
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of experience working in Information Technology in a manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Eight (8) year of experience working in Information Technology
- Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft PCs
- Experience with integrating process control equipment in a Lab and/or Manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with HP Server, Cisco Network switches, Firewall hardware and software
