Job responsibilities

• Work on deal maintenance & set-up, including but not limited to Cusip requests, Trust creation, DTC eligibility, Scale updates and initiation of wires through IPREO
• Adhere to all Regulatory requirements and have an in depth understanding of MSRB rules (G-32, G-11 etc)
• Possess clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate
• Review all deal related controls including deal documentation and wire communications to syndicate banks in accordance with MSRB and FINRA regulations
• Work closely with Operations, Settlements, Treasury, Banking, and the Underwriting desk to support a ‘one team approach’
• Have knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under high pressure with great initiative and sense of ownership
• Understanding and knowledgeable of the Municipal/Public Finance Primary Market and Syndicate workflow space including TOBs, from pre pricing through settlement
• Product knowledge of TOB New Issuance as well as functionality, including DTC eligibility for Putters/Drivers, Trust creation & set up, Wire payments
• Ability to work efficiently under high pressure, while possessing strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills, especially in Excel (Bloomberg, Python, SQL, Alteryx and additional program languages are nice to have
• Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills
• Clear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of queries, as well as all controls are being met
