As a Manager in Corporate Functions, you will be a key finance leader in our world-class finance organization. You will be a thought-leader and strategic partner to the Corporate Functions organization, providing insightful and relevant counsel, ensuring business decisions are appropriately based on accurate and reliable metrics and financial information. You will manage and oversee the development of the financial budgets and forecasts and help drive cost awareness and efficiency.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage financial budgeting and forecasting as well as close and ad-hoc analysis.
- Serve as a value-added business partner & challenger interacting and providing financial planning and decision support to business stakeholders.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for senior leadership to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business.
- Standardize and drive consistency in financial planning processes and strive for continuous improvement, identify, and execute on opportunities to reduce non-value-added work.
- Partner with the eBay’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
- Lead, inspire and develop a team.
- Assist in project-based initiatives to drive operating efficiencies across functions.
Candidates for this position will have 7+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis and management experience. Candidates should also possess the following:
- Experienced finance leader with FP&A expertise, and progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with business leaders.
- Track record of collaborating and influencing partners across the organization.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP BPC, SAP BW, Anaplan or equivalent.
- Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment.
- Strong financial modelling capability, highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial planning systems.
- Excellent decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize and articulate the highest impact initiatives.
- Effective communication skills to communicate with senior executives and internal business partners.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$126,800 - $187,550
