Job Description

As a Local Led Events Administrator in the Commercial Bank, you will ensure that all Innovation Economy/Start Up Banking incoming requests are processed accurately and efficiently, delivering exceptional service while maintaining stringent governance and compliance standards. You will partner with multiple stakeholders and ensure oversight for local event management, Confluence intake, and defined best practices. Partnering with Business Support Associates, bankers and Executive Assistants across the regions to support local led activity for these businesses.

It is essential to have a strong depth of JP Morgan institutional knowledge, proven ability to navigate the firm fluidly, strong event and project management skills, and polished interpersonal, communication and influence skills. Our candidate will be a respected leader and partner to their peers and internal constituents. You will have a strong track record of high capacity performance in a demanding and fast paced environment, a proven track record of developing strong partnerships and an ownership mentality.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as key advisor to the Innovation Economy team on how to submit critical information to complete the Sponsorship & Donation and Marketing Intake forms
  • Independently own all facets of the Marketing Local Led management process, ensuring thorough completion of all requirements in a timely manner.
  • Review incoming requests to ensure they are compliant and advise submitters of missing or inaccurate information and provide direction if request is not in line with our guidelines and strategy.
  • Gather and store needed documents and details to confirm all requests and entries are audit compliant and complete.
  • Exhibit strict attention to detail when entering events and sponsorships into our national calendar and event management tool.
  • Update budget tracking tool with incoming requests and complete drawdowns and other adjustments in partnership with related Strategy Manager.
  • Coordinate with production team member to complete payment in a timely manner for all submissions.
  • Suggest process improvements to help continue to drive intake optimization.
  • Create ads and other materials within our content management tool.
  • Partner with various functional groups including Sponsorships and Donations teams, Business Support Associates and Technology, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistency in business practices and service delivery.
  • May be required to support local events, greet clients and guests, and organize logistics such food orders/set up and takedown of conference rooms, ensuring superior client service at all times and support ad hoc projects and provide critical administrative coverage as required by the BSA/VP Admin Manager.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • At least five years of administrative experience
  • Advanced ability to organize
  • Discretion and good judgment in confidential situations, and proven experience interacting with senior management
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting at the Managing Director level (or equivalent) or above
  • College degree is a plus
