As a Software Engineer, you will be solving challenges related to reliability, resilience and concurrency for a distributed system. This opportunity will all you to make high impact changes daily as you build Azure Capacity Services.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience
You must be legally authorised to work in Romania to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
Experience with system design, algorithmic skills, good knowledge of data structures.
Solid debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position requires you to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing, building and running large scale and highly available cloud services or distributed systems.
Engineering expertise in developing and owning services.
High-availability, automation, performance and building highly available distributed systems at scale.
Practice of modern software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and releasing.
