• Reinforces that the new SAP extension model is the path forward for our customers while discussing on how to tackle challenges along the way.
• Leverages the capabilities of the different extension technologies (within SAP S/4HANA with ABAP Cloud and the 3-Tier Extension Model; Side-by-Side with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)).
• Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise and a clean core.
• Analyses feasibility for new and changed services.
• Support for solution proposals and bid management.
• Taking over responsibility from time to time as a (sub-)project lead.
• Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks.
• Delivers customer workshops and trainings.

Your Skills and Competencies:

• Skills in ABAP with a special focus on the “new” elements of ABAP such as ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Fiori Elements or ABAP Cloud
• Good knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA Extensibility Model (Key User Extensibility, On-Stack Developer Extensibility, Side-by-Side Extensibility).
• Experience in software- design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience of tools like ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Application Extension Methodology or Artificial Intelligence Know-how is a plus.

Your Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferable in Information Technologies or Computer Science.
• Several years of experience with ABAP Development in SAP implementation projects.
• Experience in software development methodologies and agile project management.
• Constructive and open style of communication at all hierarchy levels (internally and externally).
• Excellent technical and analytical ability in SAP development tools & methodologies.
• Strong knowledge in developing technical specifications.
• Willingness to work with innovative and fast changing technology components.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and solutions.
• Understand the challenges in complex system landscape.
• Solid understanding of SAP Technology & Technology Strategy, Cloud Technologies and Market Trends.
• Openness for travel and customer-facing work, onsite with customers across Europe and worldwide.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
