Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
  • Develop new connectors using Java technologies
  • Develop new features and enhancements on the connector framework and connector SDK
  • Collaborate with peer engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
  • Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks)
  • Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
  • Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
  • Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
  • Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations.
What We'd Like to See
  • Experience in Hadoop technologies like HBase, Titan, and Solr knowledge of Hadoop infrastructure like YARN, Ambari, and distributions like Cloudera, HortonWorks, MapR
  • Exposure to and experience in integration with or knowledge of applications like Azure, AWS, Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Salesforce, QlikView, Microstrategy, Teradata, and Cognos will be an added advantage.
Role Essentials
  • 6+ years of experience developing enterprise software products using Java technologies Excellent coding and design skills in Java server-side technologies, object-oriented concepts, and Java open-source frameworks are mandatory
  • Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Linux, and Tomcat is mandatory
  • Experience with database concepts, SQL programming is mandatory
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process.
