This position is a hybrid role working in the San Jose/Milpitas offices 4 days a week.

As a Senior Software Engineer (Automation Tools) on the Platform Engineering Diagnostics team, you will be passionate about website development and involved in regression infrastructure development.

• Website development. Maintain existing extended Diagnostic QA infrastructure including Web interface; new feature/page development including front-end and back-end.
• Work closely with Diagnostic engineers on QA tool support, like regression and other automation tools in Python.
• Routine QA tasks including but not limited to: bug tracking, issue isolating, debug script creating, image building, system maintenance and more.

• Bachelor’s degree or in Computer Science or related field, and 5+ years of work experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, or Express.js for web development.
• 3 + years of experience with Python scripting.
• 2 + years of professional work experience within Software QA.
• Prior work experience using HTML and CSS to develop and style web interfaces.

• Full Stack web development experience.
• Ability to proficiently code in any one of the scripting languages such as TCL or Perl.
• Extensive manual testing background.
• Understanding of Hardware components such as CPU, ASIC and MEM.
• Knowledge of Linux in user level.
