What you'll do

This position is within the Global Remote Service Delivery (RSD) organization, which provides SAP Enterprise Support and SAP Enterprise Support Cloud Editions customers with the relevant methodology and content to drive their innovation agenda based on industry business models requirements; thus providing value realization, resulting in increased customer satisfaction, contract retention and renewals. The role of the Service Consultant Enterprise Support is to ensure excellence in regional customer delivery via the tasks and responsibilities outlined below.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Work with a highly experienced team of technical experts within the Premium Hub CoE RSD Unit
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to customers in complex environments for specific fields/areas/solutions
  • Deliver remote Continuous Quality Check (CQC) services or Expert Guided Implementation services as technical/functional expert for broad area of topics
  • Collaborate with teams in other regions and/or functions across the globe
  • Actively provide customer feedback to development based on delivery
  • Support our customers in their transformation to S/4HANA (on premise or cloud) and/or to the Cloud
  • Be engaged on the latest technologies and SAP products
  • Be accountable for projects and services and deliver Enterprise Support services / projects
  • Drive new initiatives and activities
  • Develop new service contents, trainings, specifications and documentation
  • Find learning opportunities in daily tasks by staying curious and open to new experiences that will improve technical and functional knowledge.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Maths, Engineering or similar
  • Functional and Technology Experience in one of SAP cloud solutions, such as SuccessFactors, Ariba, CX, Digital Supply Chain (IBP), S/4HANA Cloud etc.
  • Technology: ABAP / Netweaver (Basic to Advanced knowledge)
  • Programming skills
  • Database skills – e.g. SAP HANA
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Technical inquisitive nature with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in SAP products and technology required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years project/delivery experience on SAP Cloud solution in any one functional area like Success Factors, Ariba, CX, IBP (Digital Supply Chain), SAC. Relevant module specific certification would be a plus
  • Programming knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of databases (database design, efficient queries).
  • Understanding of Cloud native architecture and development is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and scale up in focus areas within SAP like S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud platform
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required as this is a customer facing role in delivery.
  • Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.
  • Ability to transfer business requirement into a realizable technical requirement and support in content development is a plus

What you’ll do:

As aChief Enterprise Architect,you will develop a comprehensive enterprise architecture model for our customers aligning with their enterprise goals, collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner. You will drive the value realization and the solution adoption and lead activities such as:

  • Guide customers through their cloud journey (with special focus on adopt and derive), starting with Enterprise archetypes and scaling digitally.
  • Provide enterprise architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure that every customer benefits from SAP‘s cloud qualities.
  • Act as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxO, driving architecture effectiveness.
  • Support adoption, identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks.
  • Enhance impact on customer’s business goals by driving value realization through solution adoption and consumption of capabilities.
  • Bundle customer expectations and align business goals in a tangible enterprise level success plan to monitor and validate KPIs & value drivers to enable value-driven business transformation with value framework.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and flexible cloud environments for mission-critical processes.
  • Through governance, involve and engage relevant stakeholders within and outside the customer organization to enhance value realization, establish a common perspective on customer business goals and value drivers across solution areas to provide customer context to all teams, enhancing customer proximity and experience.
  • Align customers and partners with SAP’s Clean Core strategy, accelerate BTP adoption and promote SAP best practices.

Transformation, Architectural & Solution Skills:

  • Experience delivering enterprise business transformation projects and aligning customer priorities with target architecture and roadmap.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
  • Experience in the Federal, Civilian, State, Local and Aerospace & Defense Industries
  • Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, AI) and practical experience with S/4HANA applications.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
  • Knowledge of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies.
  • Understanding of SAP’s value framework, value drivers and business case creation with e.g. VLM (SAP value lifecycle manager)

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 15+ years in customer experience roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, and experience with BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
  • S/4HANA technical or/and SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge/experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at the senior management and C-levels, both within an IT team and across business functions.
  • Mindset for Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
  • Knowledge of on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
  • Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF.

What you’ll do

The Senior Digital Customer Engagement Manager (dCEM) is responsible for E2E virtual customer engagement and delivery of contractual agreement and services for SAP Cloud Customers of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, mainly focusing on SAP S/4HANA, private cloud edition deliverables. This role is to serve the European customers and therefore requires the candidate to perform in European time-zone.

  • Drives Sales to delivery handover and customer onboarding, covering all technical and project aspects like IP ranges, Load Balancer setup requirements, VPN networks and more.

  • Support tickets handling, bridging customer queries and requirements from technical operations team.

  • Ensures periodic service reviews to track the service quality across a range of customers.

  • Orchestrates the overall service delivery according to agreed SLAs and KPIs.

  • Supports customers on technical queries & requirements throughout their lifecycle within the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services scope of engagement.

  • Proactive ticket monitoring, handling and issue resolution for customers with regular and transparent communication.

  • Supports de-escalations of critical customer situations & reviews SLA service credit cases.

  • Contributes to customer Go-Lives, Release Upgrade and maintenance activities.

  • Executes and supports problem management and continuous improvement.

  • Supports customer satisfaction surveys & commercial change requests.

  • Contributes to the liaison with different SAP stakeholders e.g. Sales, Presales, Renewals teams, esp. Customer success partner involved in the accounts, to ensure customer success.

  • Work in European time-zone.

What you’ll bring

  • Engineering graduate with 5+ years of work experience as a SAP technical consultant in a customer facing/supporting role (IT services in Cloud environment, consulting, IT BASIS support).

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP ERP modules and tools like TSM, BODI application, DBs of HANA, ASE, Sybase, Oracle.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis activities, technical support in Cloud environments esp. with hyperscalers, OS/DB migration SAP release upgrades and infrastructure updates for cloud customers.

  • Technical and application expertise for different cloud solutions (S/4HANA or another private cloud)

  • Database Administrator -> provides professional expertise and practical assistance in terms of database system management and IT data use in order for them to comply with the IT requirements at any time throughout lifecycle, pursuant to the defined quality criteria

  • Good understanding of infrastructure operations & processes and understanding of escalation handling and procedures.

  • Excellent customer focus / Networking / Relationship Building /Results-driven / Self-organized / Decision making skills.

  • Experienced in working with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams or individuals
