Skills and Qualifications

What You Will Be Doing

• You will work closely with EMEA event manager to support events in terms of planning process, preparations, reservations, operations support, post-event analysis & reporting, etc.
• You will support EMEA Public Relations activities in terms of planning press/media activities, preparations, creation of documents, on-site implementation, further follow-ups e.g. handling media inquiries, summarize PR report, etc.
• You will implement continuous professional and technical updates of our company intranet by acting as an interface and working closely with internal- and external stakeholders
• You will develop concept, create and update local contents of Samsung Semiconductor Europe for its social media channels and intranet

What You Will Bring

• You are working towards or have finished bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar and you are currently enrolled in a study program.
• You have online/digital marketing or event/PR related work experience as working student or relevant internships in a scale of regional/global project.
• Working experiences in B2B-, semiconductor, automotive, high-tech industry, PR- or/and digital marketing agency is preferred.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Technical Design-in
• Conduct technical meetings with customers in order to promote new products and address technical issues
• Conduct technical meetings with customers along with customers' Way of Working
• Deliver product roadmaps, features, and value propositions to customers
• Track projects and anticipate customer's requests
• Identify and communicate current and future customer needs and customers technical requirements
• Drive development and quality teams to fulfil customers' requirements
• Provide technical supports throughout the product lifecycle from promotion phase to the end of production
• Responsible for testing, debugging, delivering, guiding, documenting on SW deliverables
• Software deliverables are device drivers or libraries in bootloader, Hypervisor, QNX, Linux, Android, and mostly in C programming language
• Technical support can be remote support or on-site support at customers' locations
• Work closely with other HW/SW FAEs, with marketing team and with engineering team from all over the world in resolving customer issues
• Conduct training of sales and marketing employees (product; technology; process; packaging; systems)

PROFILE REQUIRED:

• Master of Science degree or equivalent in electronics, physics or related areas
• 5 to 10 years of technical experience in semiconductor. Ideally in SoC SW development or SoC customer supports
• Experience in embedded system, C language, radio technology , Ultra-wide band , device driver or middleware in Linux/Android
• Experience in Bootloader, Linux kernel, Yocto, C++, Python and Java is a strong plus
• Experience in Agile process, DevOps, CI/CD is a strong plus
• Self-starter with ability to work under minimum supervision
• Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality

Role and Responsibilities

Vendor management

• Responsible for vendor creation and change management in Samsung Semiconductor Europe
• Responsible for accurate and timely processing of incoming vendor invoices in accordance with the applicable tax and accounting regulations
• Monitor and supervise the vendor invoice postings in SAP in collaboration with our Shared Service Center team
• Serve as a point of contact for our employees regarding invoice payments, vendor creation and vendor change requests and support the team on various accounting topics
  

Payment and local treasury operations

• Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and execution of weekly payment runs and ad hoc payment requests
• Payment netting and bank postings in SAP
• Prepare daily and weekly bank balance reports
• Collaborate with our treasury colleagues in UK on various cash and payment related topics

Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or an apprenticeship training as an accountant(Bilanzbuchhalter/-inIHK) or as a tax accountant(Steuerfachangestellte)
• Previous experience in a similar role ( 1-3 years)
• Good knowledge of German GAAP and German tax regulations
• Very good command of SAP and MS Office applications
• Proven experience in a multinational corporation in a local accounting team
