Your Impact
Lead and oversee all post-sales technical service delivery in JAPAC ensuring consistent and high-quality execution for Palo Alto Networks’ NetSec Products.
Act as the single point of accountability for technical services, interfacing with GCS, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partner teams to ensure alignment and delivery of business outcomes
Support Area Leaders to engage with executive-level customer stakeholders (e.g., CIOs, CISOs) to provide value reviews, and resolution of escalated issues
Build and develop a high-performing team of technical professionals through hiring the best talent in the industry, mentoring/ coaching, and performance management in line with the defined capability requirements for the team
Drive and achieve the following business and operational objectives:
Maintain consistently high utilization of PS consultants through optimal planning and backlog management
Design and maintain the best resource mix across FTEs and contractors, maximizing quality and agility
Reduce Time to Value (TTV) by accelerating deployment and adoption timelines
Contribute to Service Sales Growth by enabling scalable, value-driven technical offerings
Achieve global target service margin ratios through delivery efficiency and cost control
Build and sustain strong, strategic relationships with subcontractors and delivery partners
Collaborate with the Business Value Services (BVS) team to co-design and evolve services that fit the specific needs of the Japan market
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT) through proactive support and continuous improvement
Drive continuous improvement across the delivery of Netsec Professional Services and Customer Success Engineering, through the use of Automation and AI to drive efficiency, quality and scale
Drive standardized delivery practices, proactive risk mitigation, and data-driven decisions across Areas to improve service health
Foster a culture of continuous learning, agility, and innovation to respond to the JAPAC regions fast-changing customer and business environment
Represent JAPAC region at a global level, sharing customer insights, local challenges, and opportunities for regional impact
Ensure smooth execution of global and theatre-level GCS programs in JAPAC, while tailoring implementation to local needs
Your Experience
10+ years of experience in technical services, professional services, customer success, support or related functions within a high-growth SaaS/cloud enterprise environment
5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing regional teams, including direct and matrixed reporting lines
Demonstrated success in managing performance against KPIs related to deployment, adoption, margin, utilization, and CSAT
Direct experience engaging with executive-level customers in Japan
Background in cybersecurity or enterprise IT preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or Master’s degree or MBA preferred or equivalent military experience required
Willingness to travel up to 20–30% within JAPAC and occasionally globally
Deep expertise in the field of Network Security, ideally with exposure to Palo Alto Networks Products

This is a specialized, high-impact technical role designed for a strategist who understands the intersection of advanced security architecture and service provider economics. You will not just be deploying products; you will be architecting scalable, multi-tenant service platforms that empower our most strategic Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs)/Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers to transform their operational capabilities.
As a key member of the Technical Solutions Architect team, you will act as the technical conscience for our partner ecosystem, moving them from legacy monitoring models to hyper-automated, platform-centric security delivery. We are looking for a rare blend of deep SOC/Cloud expertise, architectural systems thinking, and the executive gravitas required to influence the long-term service roadmaps of the region's top providers.
Your Impact
In this specialized role, you will act as the primary technical authority for:
Service Design & Creation: Co-designing high-margin, high-efficacy service catalogs with partners. You will translate the Palo Alto Networks portfolio into deployable, scalable managed service offerings (MDR, SASE, Cloud Security).
Architecting for Scale: Developing reference architectures that prioritize multi-tenancy, API-driven automation, and operational efficiency to lower the "cost-to-serve" for our partners.
Strategic Influence: Engaging directly with Partner CTOs and VP-level executives to align their technical strategy with our platformization vision, driving mutual revenue growth through differentiated service offerings.
Feedback Loop: Acting as the technical voice of the JAPAC MSSP market, identifying specific product enhancements (specifically regarding multi-tenancy and portal integrations) to sharpen the competitiveness of the Cortex and SASE portfolios.
Elite Teaming: Collaborating with a cross-functional team of Account Managers, Solution Consultants, and Global Product leaders to execute complex, high-stakes service transformations.
Your Experience
We are seeking a practitioner with a proven track record in high-scale environments. The ideal candidate views security not just as a control, but as a deliverable service.
12+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience, with a specific focus on Security Operations (SecOps/SOC) and architectural scale.
Service Provider DNA: Deep, first-hand understanding of the MSSP business model, including multi-tenancy requirements, unit economics, SLA management, and the lifecycle of service creation.
Technical Depth: Advanced knowledge of AI Driven SOC principles. Experience with API integration and automation strategy is highly preferred.
Executive Presence: Ability to command a room and simplify complex architectural concepts for C-level audiences.
Thought Leadership: A passion for advancing the industry—previous participation in technical forums, white paper authorship, or speaking engagements (e.g., Black Hat, BSides, or regional equivalents) is a strong plus.

As a Renewals Services Consultant, you’ll play a mission-critical role in our renewals engine—working across data, pricing, systems, and stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate renewals. Supporting major and selected enterprise accounts, you’ll manage complex data sets, produce customer-facing quotes, and partner closely with Field Sales and Channel teams.

Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, PowerPivot, or Tableau a plus

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.
