Au sein de l’équipe EMF de Nokia, le rôle de l’apprenti.e sera de :

• développer des outils d’analyse des résultats de mesure collectés lors des campagnes d’évaluation des performances des features EMF 5G réalisées en laboratoire (chambre anéchoïque ou sur terrain extérieur),
• automatiser de bout-en-bout la plateforme de test (pilotage des équipements, collecte et analyse des résultats de mesure et des compteurs, production du rapport de test),
• réaliser des campagnes d’évaluation des performances de nouvelles features EMF, analyser les résultats et proposer des voies d’amélioration.

Durée d’apprentissage: 2 ans

Within Nokia EMF team, the apprentice role will be to:

• develop tools for the analysis of measurement data collected during the performance evaluation campaigns of 5G EMF features in lab conditions (anechoic chamber or outdoor),
• end-to-end automation of the test platform (equipment drivers, results collection and analysis of measurement results and counters, production of the test report),
• conduct performance evaluation campaigns of new features, analyze results and propose improvements.

Planned duration: 2 years

Sous la responsabilité de son tuteur, les missions confiées lors de cet apprentissage seront les suivantes:

• Apprentissage de l’utilisation de la plateforme de test et du banc de mesure en relation avec l'ingénieur de test (équipements de mesure, terminaux mobiles, configuration de la station de base, protocole de test, mesure d'incertitude),
• Collecte et traitement des résultats de mesure de champs électromagnétiques et des compteurs/indicateurs de performance correspondants dans la station de base,
• Développement et maintenance d’outils d’automatisation de mesure, de configuration des paramètres de stations de base et de collecte des compteurs,
• Analyse des résultats et génération de rapports de test,
• Automatisation de la plateforme de test,
• Réalisation de campagnes de test de performance.

Under the responsibility of his/her tutor, the missions during this apprenticeship will be as follows:

• Training on the test platform and the measurement bench under the supervision of the test engineer (test equipment, mobile terminals, base station configuration, test protocol, uncertainty analysis),
• Collection and processing of electromagnetic field measurement results and base station performance counters/indicators,
• Development and maintenance of measurement automation tools, base station parameter configuration and collection of counters,
• Test results analysis and generation of the test report,
• Automation of the test platform,
• Conduct performance assessment campaigns.

Essentielles :

• Etudes de master ou d'ingénieur en télécommunications et réseaux, électronique, automatisation, informatique,
• Anglais, bon niveau.

Souhaitées :

• Bonne expérience des outils de bureautique et programmation informatiques (Excel, PowerBI, VBA, Python, Matlab…),
• Connaissances en traitement de bases de données,
• Connaissances des équipements de mesure radio (power meter, analyseur de spectre…),
• Connaissances générales appréciées en propagation radio, antennes, électronique et réseaux mobiles 5G (architecture et techniques).

• Bonnes qualités de communication écrite et orale (précision, synthèse, présentation),

Mandatory:

• Master or engineering degree in telecom networks, electronics, automation, informatics,
• English, fluent.

Nice to have:

• Good experience in IT and programming tools (Excel, PowerBI, VBA, Python, Matlab…),
• Knowledge in data science,
• Knowledge of radio measurement equipment (power meter, spectrum analyzer),
• Appreciated general knowledge of radio propagation, antennas, electronics, and 5G mobile networks (architecture and techniques).

• Fully own designs from initial specifications through completion
  Generate the complete documentation for manufacturability, including gerber files (ODB++ format), fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and all supporting documentation
• Work closely with other functional groups (including product engineering, Radio Frequence laboratory, Digital design and industrial) to define and execute design methodology
• Implement of design standards, including DFM and DFX, to satisfy the manufacturing requirements
• Provide library support, with a full understanding of parts creation, pad stacks, required spacing and clearances
  Participate in design reviews

• A minimum of 5 years PCB design experience with a comprehensive knowledge of design requirements as it relates to electrical, mechanical and manufacturing requirements.
• Good experiences with Mentor Expedition tools (Concurrent mode and Layout Team Server/Client, Hyperlink)
• Experience in Signal Integrity Simulation and Thermal Simulation could be considered a plus.
• The ability to manually route complex multi layer printed circuit boards with radio frequency and digital circuitry (Familiarity with microcontrollers, fine pitch BGAs).
• Familiarity with High Speed Frequency layout.
• Experience with PCB stack up as it relates to impedance, cross coupling, and capacitance
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures and design requirements for board fabrication and board assembly procedures
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Good teamplayer
