You will report to our Technical Support Manager.

Informatica product knowledge, on-prem and Cloud Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, ADLS, Troubleshooting, and technical support for the diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging of complex software.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Resolve complex technical issues related to our software products via telephone and email/internet.
• Participate in problem escalation and call prevention projects to help customers and other technical support staff increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to provide tracking and resolution of change requests.
• Active participation in upskilling of the team and be future ready to handle all technical and customer management scenarios.

What we would like that you have on your experience list

• 2+ years of Database Administrative experience with Relational Database with DBs like Oracle or MS-SQL is preferable.
• Practical experience in databases like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, and Streaming platforms like Kafka is desirable.
• Fundamental understanding of Cloud ecosystems like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in multiple operating systems such as Windows, UNIX/Linux
• Data Replication, Data Warehousing fundamentals, and Knowledge of ETL and data management are desirable.
• Prior experience in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Warehousing or any ETL tool is desirable. Individuals who have been in PowerCenter Administrative and Development roles are highly preferred.

• Exceed expansion sales goals (quotas) through analysing consumption metrics, prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities end to end within the assigned accounts/territory.

This position requires good Project Management background. Also, the position needs an experienced hands-on knowledge of Informatica technologies like Master Data Management (MDM), Data Engineering Integration (DEI), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) etc.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Product Specialist.

Troubleshoot issues like, unexpected termination/memory leak/performance issue. Proficiency in java and C++ source code and also exposure in analysing Heap dump, Thread dump, Jstack,pstack,strace,GDB and proficiency in troubleshooting tools like tcpdump/wireshark/java runtime injection, DB performance tunings, memory profilers/analyzers.

• Troubleshoot complex technical problems, proposing probable fixes, and working with the customer and Informatica development to resolve technical roadblocks.
• Will also support the customers' implementation process, working with our customers' implementation teams and Informatica technical support.
• Knowledge of CFCN, serverless paradigm with the ability to understand issues in cloud native applications is has must have skill.
• Troubleshoot issues not only in product but also on generic stacks like system/network/echo systems (Azure/GCP/AWS) is an additional expectation from the role.
• The ability to develop tools for multiple endpoints ( odbc/message queue/rest/ echo systems end points) would be an added advantage.
