Senior Consultant – Risk Consulting – Digital Risk

EY is recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join our Digital Risk team at various offices across MENA. In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide strategic advice on managing their digital risk, ensuring resilience through comprehensive assessments of their digital and software ecosystems. You will also be responsible for helping clients strengthen their software management frameworks and assess risks associated with their technology infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will:
• Be an integral team member providing insights into digital risk, resilience, and software management, supporting MENA clients with tailored solutions.
• Work with multiple client teams advising them on IT Risk and digital resilience, including performing digital assessments, ensuring effective software management, and guiding them through managing digital risks.
• Assist executives in developing business opportunities by demonstrating deep expertise in digital risk and assessments.
• Participate in client engagements, delivering excellent service through collaboration and effective communication with senior team members. You will also contribute to report preparation and client service delivery across assigned tasks.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline. A degree in business, accounting, finance, with additional IT or digital risk qualifications, is also suitable.• 5+ years of experience as a digital risk consultant, IT auditor, or IT risk specialist in a professional services firm, technology company, telecom, or financial services company.
• Expertise in areas such as IT risk assessments, digital resilience frameworks, software asset management, ERP control validation (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), emerging technologies (IoT, Cloud, Blockchain), systems assessments, and internal/external audit integration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and/or English, with an ability to explain complex digital concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or CIA.• Experience in working with international consulting firms, implementing best practices in software management and digital risk assessments.
