  • Handle service complaints from customers and/or sales representatives from Czech Republic.
  • Daily use of CRM tool (Salesforce) to register all incoming e-mails/requests from customers and sales.
  • Perform different analysis and maintenance of databases for customers.
  • Act effectively to resolve various issues in cooperation with supervisor/ coordinator and other team members if required

About the Role:

At Boston Scientific, the Supply Chain Planner I support the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) organization by supporting the device distribution and tracking of investigational products from the trial planning phase through final reconciliation of products. This role involves coordinating with internal and external groups to meet clinical trial deliverables while ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include demand planning, data analysis, inventory management, document tracking, and ensuring clinical objectives are met within time, budget, and compliance parameters.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with other Clinical Supply Chain team members to complete and approve the Device Management plan prior to the start of study enrollment.
  • Participate in the Device Management system user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in developing demand plans and ensuring appropriate and timely supply for clinical trials.
  • Engage with clinical team, customer care, distribution, and logistics teams to ensure product is distributed in a timely and compliant manner for clinical trials.
  • Engage with external groups/vendors, when used, to ensure distribution and processes are in place to support on time enrollment within compliance.
  • Monitor trial performance and inventory position as to reduce excess, expired and obsolete inventory (EE&O) risk.
  • Using data models and device accountability systems to analyze and ensure that investigational devices are tracked throughout the clinical trial.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to return and track un-used product into our distribution centers and to final device disposition.
  • Support Vendor Management activities with existing or new trials.
  • Escalate issues and potential risks to CSC management as applicable.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong Analytical skills with ability to structure and perform data analysis.
  • Experience solving urgent and complex business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong Organization skills to work multiple issues in parallel over time.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Adhere to procedures and practices that maintain compliance to regulations.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Medical devices/pharmaceutical clinical trials and device distribution experience preferred.
    Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) experience is a plus.
  • Experience utilizing SAP or other ERP system preferred.

About the role:

As a Manufacturing Technician III, you are responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations in daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety. Daily tasks include responding to equipment downtimes issues on the production floor, performing routine preventative maintenance on production equipment, and supporting Manufacturing Engineers (ME) in value improvement projects. Most of your time is spent on the production floor, working on equipment, and engaging with our Medical Device Specialists (i.e. MDS operators).

With General Supervision, you will work on 3rd shift as part of a technician team in the Nitinol Shape Memory (NSM) business unit. NSM 3rd shift runs Sunday-Thursday from 9:30pm to 5:30am.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply advanced mechanical, electrical, control, and pneumatic expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues on automated production equipment.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for process, material, or equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure sustained performance.
  • Drive implementation of robust corrective actions for recurring or high-impact manufacturing issues.
  • Perform and oversee equipment setup, calibration, and both preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision.
  • Lead equipment startups and shutdowns, ensuring safe-state transitions and readiness for production continuity.
  • Install, validate, and optimize equipment and processes to enhance yield, reduce cycle time, and support scalability.
  • Design, modify, and validate tooling and fixtures to support evolving production needs.
  • Assess, recommend, and procure equipment, tools, and fixtures aligned with long-term operational goals.
  • Uphold quality standards and proactively communicate risks or deviations to cross-functional teams.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify waste, streamline workflows, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Champion Value Improvement Projects (VIPs), driving cost savings and process enhancements through technical innovation.
  • Mentor and provide expert-level technical guidance to product builders and fellow technicians.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and leadership across teams, adapting to changing priorities and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
  • Take initiative in Shared Responsibility and continuous improvement teams, contributing strategic insights and solutions.
  • Promote and model adherence to all BSC and site-specific policies and procedures.
