As an Expoint sustainability consultant, you will work to identify, measure and mitigate impacts of technology operations on society and the environment. You will assess the current performance of the organization in terms of their carbon emissions, material use, and other sustainability indicators, develop plans to create and improve sustainable practices, provide strategic advice on reducing environmental risk and identify cost savings through efficient resource management. You will also have the opportunity to research and provide solutions to environmentally conscious organizations, such as transitioning away from fossil fuel-generated electricity. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create strategies to increase renewable feed-in to the business. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to identify and analyze key sustainability risks, and design solutions to mitigate those risks. You should have a comprehensive understanding of sustainability trends, practices, and standards in the industry, as well as an understanding of the metrics used to assess sustainability performance. Additionally, strong research and analytical skills are key for this role, along with the ability to develop innovative solutions to improve the sustainability efforts of a company.
