Job Description

You will collaborate with product management, engineering and other cross-functional groups throughout the PLM stages to represent Services’ requirements in the development of new and evolving product and service offerings, ensure new offerings are supportable and serviceable, and manage service readiness for new releases.

You will work closely with management and SMEs to develop a comprehensive framework with timelines and requirements that ensure Support and Service readiness for new product releases.

What will you do?

  • Develop Support and Services PLM Readiness program that ensures new Security products are released with an trained team and tools in place to provide positive and credible customer experiences from day one.
  • Design, build and maintain project plans for each new offering including scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
  • Lead the gathering of requirements and scope for new releases.
  • Collaborate with and align to the larger PLM management process.
  • Participate in and establish effective program meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts.
  • Assemble and publish effective status reports able to serve a variety of audiences from project team members to Executive leadership.
  • Design and deliver Executive-level presentations to support governance of high-risk projects.
  • Continuously look for better and more efficient ways to achieve outcomes.
  • Conduct retrospectives to support improvement to process, policy and tools. Skills around building order and crafting/modifying processes where needed is critical to this position.
  • Collaborate with peers, managers and team members across the organization to shape solutions, develop new processes and coordinate work. Cultivating key relationships across the company.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Seasoned professional with full understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Robust understanding of technology companies and the interplay between Marketing, Product Development, Product Management, Sales, Customer Support and Services.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and execution skills.
  • Track record of analyzing and interpreting complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work across a multi-function, geo-dispersed team.
  • Strong demonstration of initiative and ability to advance projects while leading multiple initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Able to engage effectively and communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be a great teammate and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Excellent skill at using office collaboration tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
  • Familiarity with Technology Support and Services business preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ related experience or equivalent work experience managing projects at technology-based companies or technical domains.
  • 3+ years of running large scale, cross-functional, complex programs
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud service offerings desired
  • Experience with a geo-dispersed team
  • Cyber-security industry background a plus.
