  • Prepare and review semi-monthly and monthly payroll data, including earnings, taxes, equity, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, validate reports, and support general ledger payroll entries and accruals (e.g., in NetSuite or similar systems).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to employees and government agencies worldwide.
  • Collaborate with local payroll agencies to maintain compliance with tax regulations, social security, and labor law requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements, and support audit and compliance efforts.
  • Maintain and update documentation for payroll processes, controls, and procedures.

As the Senior Manager, Public Sector Compliance Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Wiz’s FedRAMP authorized cloud. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide compliance program oversight and execution, end-to-end across the team and stakeholders
  • Drive coordination, planning and management of complex compliance initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Work with peers to strategically communicate controls, interpretation of controls, program plans to help align both vertically and horizontally
  • Oversee all day-to-day compliance activities, to include continuous monitoring, architecture review, significant change requests, feature enhancement requests
  • Identity and optimize processes across teams to scale operations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management or operations that focus on the federal government, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong understanding of the public sector compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC, ITAR, CJIS)
  • Proven experience managing teams and overseeing the operational excellence of complex projects across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of cloud services, architectures, and security best practices, with CSP level certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and the security considerations associated with them.
