  • Supervision of hourly maintenance technicians. Defining roles and responsibilities and ensuring the team is meeting expectations; providing direction and following-up on execution of work
  • Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdowns using data
  • Collaborate with production leaders and engineers to track and improve line efficiency
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules that drive down MTTR and improve overall shop uptime
  • Understand and track the spending across the shops to work with shop leaders and/or internal team to reduce costs
  • Maintain and help develop up-to-date maintenance and calibration procedures and schedules
  • Develop new maintenance instructions for equipment or equipment changes and provide training to maintenance teams
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance technician management experience in a high-volume manufacturing/industrial environment, military or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on torque tooling is preferred
  • Skilled at troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, welding, and/or pneumatic systems, and communications networks/systems
  • Demonstrated experience with 3-phase 480/208 VAC, single-phase 208/120 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
  • Ability to rapidly become proficient in PLC/Soft PLC communications
  • Demonstrated ability to use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance-Management Systems) to include monitoring, scheduling, and creating work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Must be skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access)
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

  • Standard development and creation of procedure and methods

  • Procedures & PMs, develop & maintain proper documentation of: all necessary procedures; periodic maintenance tasks; equipment changes (electrical, spare parts upgrades, mechanical), etc
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of extensive experience with troubleshooting and correcting industrial equipment maintenance breakdowns and failures
  • Hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, robotic and controls skills
  • Injection Molding experience
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Proficient in using a CMMS database (FLUX)
  • Must have the command of the English Language, both written and verbal

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs

  • Use Python scripting and SQL to interface equipment with Tesla Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and to collect data into production databases
  • Introduce automated processes into production, and train and equip Sustaining Team to support automated equipment after deployment into production
  • Establish test plans and control test plan execution
  • Debug and optimize automated processes to maximize cycle time and uptime.
  • Managing the network and hardware IT infrastructure
What You’ll Bring
  • Evidence of exceptional ability, including a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage this understanding to solve challenging technical problems
  • 5+ years as a cell modeling engineer OR electrochemical systems modeling engineer
  • Degree in Chemical, Material or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent experience
  • In depth knowledge of electrochemical principles and their application to lithium-ion cell manufacturing and degradation mechanisms
  • Strong Programming skills and experience in Python, MATLAB, COMSOL or equivalent applied to electrochemical processes or battery systems, with experience in scripting and workflow automation
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret electrochemical data and optimize processes based on modeling insights
  • Familiarity with data integration and database systems (e.g., SQL) for managing electrochemical process data
  • Preferred: Battery abuse modeling experience, Prior work modeling unit operations in cell manufacturing (e.g., electrode processing, cell formation). Understanding of databases and various program languages (Java, Python). HMI programming experience – TwinCAT HMI, WinCC and Ignition, Robotic programming skills, Vision systems

  • Operate typical machine shop equipment including but not limited to mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, grinders, sanders, and saws
  • Work with a wide range of materials from hardened tool steels to plastics (i.e., tool steels, pre-hardened steels, stainless steels, low carbon steels, aluminum, plastics, copper, and brass). General shop responsibilities (i.e., help ensure a safe working environment, equipment maintenance and repair, housekeeping duties, organization of shop materials and supplies)
  • Understand and use 3D and 2D CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, FUSION 360 and AUTOCAD to view and or extract components from solid model assemblies to generate toolpaths and detailed drawings
  • Work with minimal supervision with limited detailed drawings or blueprints, must be able to interpret verbal or written instructions and work independently to complete jobs from set up to final inspection
  • Work closely with managers, engineers, and technicians to produce a wide variety of components, weldments, and assemblies. Have an understanding to take broken equipment and Reverse Engineer have the aptitude for fieldrepairs components
What You’ll Bring
  • Experienced and highly skilled in tool and die making with the ability to design and build custom fixtures and jigs
  • Strong Machine shop experience with all equipment in Machine shop
  • 5 years minimum experience as a Tool & Die Maker/Prototype Machinist or Manual Machinist or CNC Machinist/Programmer
  • Experience welding and fabrication with strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning systems quickly. Welding/Fabrication & sheet metal knowledge is an asset
  • Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office
