- Supervises his/her Vendor Tooling Technical Team including adherence to Ford Corporate Policies & Procedures, execution of the VT process, resource allocation, development planning, timely and target-oriented way of working, priority setting. Execution of the VT Process includes
- Early On-Boarding EOB executed on Components identified as long lead for feasibility
- Effective Sourcing Approach insured by validating tool shop capability
- Tool shop identification to insure competitive bidding
- Transparency ensured by use of Ford’s Tool Break Down Sheets
- Negotiations timely finalized in support of Program Finance Freeze
