What you will be doing:

  • Drive adoption and consumption of BTP solution areas in collaboration with SAP’s local sales and pre-sales. Support all SAP’s customer facing roles to successfully drive our platform business
  • Innovate new business models with the focus on Japanese customers and develop use cases on the BTP
  • Collaborate with the global SAP BTP solution area to adopt the latest strategy and innovation locally
  • Become part of the team’s leadership and develop strategy and guidance for the future of the team
  • Guide and advise customers in regard to the latest SAP technology and innovation with our SAP BTP
  • Steer and guide customers and partners in key BTP projects to become an AI driven enterprise
  • Identify and scale SAP innovations together with our customers and partners leveraging the BTP
  • Help customers with onboarding and adoption of their BTP use cases
  • Explain the importance of BTP in the context of SAP’s strategy to our customers, partners and internally. Become a thought leader for topics like Suite transformation, Clean Core and AI.
  • Train and coach new members of the team and create the future of the Japan BTP business

What you bring:

  • Bachelor of Science (ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or related fields of study with a technical focus)
  • Professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in the field of services
  • At least 5 years of experience in the platform business ideally with SAP BTP
  • Track record of successfully delivering and leading customer projects preferably with SAP BTP or any other business platform
  • Good understanding of SAP overall strategy and the role of BTP as part of the strategy
  • Deep experience in one of the SAP topics around platform development, Integration, database, extensibility or AI
  • Understanding end to end process of how to develop innovative use cases and new platform business models until bringing it into production with customers.
  • Experience in working together with Sales and pre-sales to support adoption and consumption of SAP solutions

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As CoE Business Processes Consultant (f/m/d) for Procurement you are required to deliver high-value engagements with customers on functional and technical areas.

In your new role it is expected that you:

  • support our customers on their transformation to SAP S/4HANA / Intelligent Enterprise.
  • analyze highly complex business processes with focus on procurement. This includes root cause analysis and optimization of these processes in heterogenous system landscapes.
  • deliver remote and onsite services together with experts from our or other CoEs with focus on system optimization, conceptual planning as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
  • continuously develop your functional and technical skills in S/4HANA and/or SAP Ariba to be able to provide industry knowledge and contribute to the development of Services for new products/components.
  • Provide knowledge transfer within the team.

The constantly changing customer situations require high degree of flexibility and individual approach to each new customer. However, this is also what makes our job so appealing.
Regular travel to the extent of approx. 10-20% is required.


YOUR PROFILE

Mandatory skills and qualifications that you bring are:

  • Minimum of 4 years of delivering services, projects or support for SAP Procurement solutions (SAP ERP Material Management, SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP Ariba and ISBN) with functional knowledge on customizing, setup, and configuration.
  • Strong end-to-end business process know-how with product knowledge in S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass.
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems; good root cause analysis and debugging capabilities with technical and programming skills (e.g. Java, C++, ABAP).
  • Technical expertise in SAP systems and integration architecture including good understanding and expertise in ABAP, HANA Database.
  • Experienced in interacting with C-level sponsors.
  • Business fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.

Additional preferred qualifications and competencies are:

  • University degree in computer science, business engineering/administration or related field
  • Experience with new technologies such as Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, AI, big data and blockchain will be a plus
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying current with solution advancements

The position can be filled as part time position.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Your future role involves delivery of technical and application services within Premium Engagements with customers. You need very good skills and capabilities in SAP Project System, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and related applications. You are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:

  • Analyze highly complex business processes including root cause analysis and optimization in heterogenous system landscapes with focus on PS, PPM on prem and in the cloud.
  • Together with other experts deliver remote and onsite services for global customers supporting with system optimization, conceptual planning as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Design and implement solutions based on S/4HANA PS, PPM and other modules and applications in S/4HANA and Industry Cloud applications around those.
  • Assist in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines.
  • Be a team player, building up strong networks within SAP and working collaboratively and passionately with others (this is one of the key cornerstones for our success).
  • Become a team lead for service delivery teams and escalation teams taking over more responsibility when your expertise level allows it.

YOUR PROFILE

You are a Senior Consultant (f/m/d) with skills in at least one of the following solution areas:

  • Project System (PS) module know how.
  • Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) on SAP S/4HANA on premise and/ or EPPM in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Proven project and implementation/ customizing experience in Project System, Portfolio and Project Management and/or Commercial Project Management in ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Proven expertise/ delivery of EPPM (PS, PPM or CPM) designs, Fit-To-Standard Workshops, implementations.
  • Ideally troubleshooting experience in EPPM area: performance optimization, debugging, short dump analyzing or related skills.
  • Optional: experience S/4HANA Cloud for Projects, Resource Management or Enterprise Project Connection (EPC).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Support or Consulting in one of the expertise areas mentioned above.
  • Practical experience in managing customers, SAP implementation projects, service deliveries and/or project management.
  • Good communication skills with a convincing and friendly appearance.
  • High-quality service mindset and the capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Generic programming Skills in ABAP.
  • Minimum of B2 in English and German is a must.

What You Bring

  • Direct experience with one or more solutions such as: Digital Manufacturing, Asset Management, Supply Chain Planning, Extended Warehouse Management, Transportation Management , Business Network , Supply Chain Collaboration ecc
  • Proven track record in implementing SAP S/4HANA and/or individual supply chain solutions with integration scenarios.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape in the global supply chain software market and SAP’s differentiators.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, including public speaking and C-level engagement.
  • Higly proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint , Camtasia , and other presentation/video tools to craft engaging digital content.
  • Strong organisational capability with the ability to prioritise tasks , work effectively under pressure, and manage concurrent workstreams.
  • Solid understanding of software sales cycles and collaborative selling alongside account executives.
  • Prior exposure to C-level stakeholders across multiple customer organisations.
  • Knowledge of one or more industry sectors (e.g., Automotive, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing) is a plus .
  • Educational background in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or similar; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus .
