YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Contribute to the development and implementation of architectural patterns and best practices across product teams.
Define and drive the architectural direction of cloud-native servicesand prototype new AI-enabled capabilities and platform services, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Develop architecture guidelines and technical standards for the integration of AI capabilities into SAP’s cloud solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-level architectural designs and ensure alignment with product goals and business objectives.
Assess emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to recommend best practices for delivering AI-infused services at scale.
Partner with fellow architects and development teams to review and improve development methodologies, driving continuous improvements in delivery cycles and technical quality.
Continuously learn and explore emerging AI and cloud-native technologies, identifying their potential application on SAP’s architecture.
Collaborate closely with internal SAP teams on integration activities, ensuring cohesive and successful implementation of cross-team architectural solutions.
YOUR PROFILE
5+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with a proven ability to design and deliver complex, cloud-native systems.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript), with hands-on development experience.
Strong foundation in microservices architecture, containers, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with experience in building scalable, secure applications.
Experience with SAP technologies, BTP, or enterprise integration landscapes or CloudFoundry.
Familiarity with AI/ML integration, including model consumption patterns, MLOps basics, or cloud-based AI services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and modern development practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical challenges.
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and clearly articulate architectural decisions.
Self-motivated, curious about emerging technologies, and comfortable working in distributed, cross-functional environments.
