  • Drive Task Force Teams to solve systematic yield, performance, or reliability issues.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:

  • Bachelors of Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Material Science, or related areas) required. Masters or PhD is a plus.
  • 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience is required; 10+ years of experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with technology, process & qualification development milestones in order to meet customer and industry specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

  • Understanding of the interactions between process and Electrical test. Knowledge of process flow - Familiarity with unit processes including thin films deposition, etch, diffusion, wet process, CMP, Photolithography, etc.
  • Analysis skills, including electrical device characterization, yield analysis, data mining, DOE, and SPC. JMP or Spotfire.
  • SPICE modeling/simulation and MHC experience.

The current base salary range for this role is between $81,490 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

  • You will collaborate with RTL designers to evaluate PPA and drive improvement of new architectural features or RTL changes.

  • You will be responsible for synthesis, floor planning, place & route in chip-level and hierarchical physical implementation environments.

  • You will produce and deliver RTL/netlist to GDS flow, meeting PPA (Power, Performance, and Area) goals and ensuring proper functionality.

  • You will utilize Perl, TCL, Shell, and other script languages to automate design flows and improve efficiency.

  • You will apply your knowledge of GPU design and integration flows, including CPU/GPU/ASIC physical design experience, to drive innovation and excellence in our designs.
