1. Strategic Partner to the CPO
Partner with the CPO to develop, evolve, and operationalize the multi-year People Strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and transformation objectives.
Act as a connector and integrator across all People sub-functions, including Talent, Total Rewards, DEI, Learning, HR Tech, and Places, bringing cohesion and clarity to the collective strategy.
Support the PLT in setting and prioritizing strategic initiatives that enable scale, impact, and transformation.
2. Strategic Planning & KPI Governance
Lead the People Team’s strategic planning and goal-setting process, ensuring tight alignment with company-level OKRs.
Develop and maintain a People Strategy Dashboard that tracks performance against key enterprise and People metrics, including leadership confidence, engagement, performance differentiation, and efficiency.
Drive accountability by ensuring the PLT measures what matters, reports outcomes consistently, and uses data to guide decision-making.
3. Transformation Design & Strategic Governance
Structure and frame People-related transformation initiatives
Provide strategic scaffolding and governance models for initiatives led across the People function, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and clarity of ownership.
Serve as the strategic interface between the People Team and Corp Strategy and or other Transformation Offices to ensure synchronization of priorities.
4. Executive and Board Communications
Lead the creation of executive and Board-facing communications that articulate the People Strategy and progress against key priorities.
Develop clear, data-driven narratives and materials for Board updates, executive off-sites, and quarterly business reviews, reflecting the strategic maturity of the People function.
Translate analytics and insights into concise, compelling stories that demonstrate organizational impact, transformation outcomes, and future priorities.
5. Research, Benchmarking & Strategic Insight
Conduct market and best-practice research across high-growth and technology peers to inform the evolution of Palo Alto Networks’ People Strategy.
Act as the internal strategist who anticipates talent and organizational needs based on external trends and internal data.
Your Experience
8–12 years of experience in People Strategy, Corporate Strategy, or Management Consulting, ideally within a high-growth or technology environment.
Demonstrated success in strategy development, organizational design, and enterprise planning at scale.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; able to integrate data, insight, and storytelling into actionable strategies.
Exceptional communication and presentation capability, with experience preparing materials for senior executives and Boards of Directors.
Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional senior stakeholders without direct authority.
High learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments.

Your Career
As the Principal, Product and Pricing Strategy you will be shaping the future of our security business. You are a seasoned strategist (ideally with a mix of significant strategy consulting and in-house experience) with hands-on product and pricing strategy experience and depth in Enterprise Tech (cybersecurity preferred). The scope of this role spans conception of strategy all the way through execution. You will be accountable for shaping the strategy and delivering operations for the product business. Balancing big-picture thinking and C-suite level influencing skills with a nose-for-value and ‘roll up your sleeves’ mindset is critical. Pricing Strategy
Track market and competitor trends and moves
Develop pricing structures and models: define list prices, discount structures, promotional offers, bundling strategies
Lead pricing analysis and research: conduct detailed analysis of internal data (sales trends, costs) and external data (competitor pricing, market demand); benchmarking
Review and develop guidelines for deal and commercial structures

Product Strategy
Own and Lead the development of long term product strategies
Track competitive product strategies
Build segment and market specific plans to drive product growth
Drive strategic x-functional projects based on c-suite priorities

Your Experience
15+ years of total experience in product development and strategy, including MBA from a top-10 b-school
Significant experience in a top tier consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey- either current or in the past) and / or top enterprise tech companies
Demonstrated product and pricing strategy experience - developing and rolling out programs, driving x-functional initiatives with product and engineering teams
Material Enterprise Tech experience with a deep understanding of Cybersecurity / SaaS business models and key levers to scale
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail, identify patterns, and process information quickly to deliver against tight deadlines
Proven ability to engage with and influence CxOs in corporate environments
Ability to build and nurture a team

Your Experience
8+ years in partner operations, channel operations, or related business operations roles, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth tech company
Proven success managing partner incentive programs, compensation frameworks, or operational policy implementation across partner ecosystems (resellers, distributors, GSIs, MSSPs, and CSPs)
Hands-on experience with Salesforce (CPQ, PRM) and inventive management platforms like Varicent. Experience with cloud marketplace private offers is a strong plus.
