Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management and execution of all logistical and operational aspects for digital and in-person events.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, manage and execute hosted events, sponsored events and webinars across the company.
  • Help negotiate and facilitate value for money contracts with event venues, hotels, caterers/restaurants, audio visual vendors, etc. in conjunction with procurement. Ensure maximization of value across all external events.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing, Social and Content Teams to repurpose content and help extend the life of events.
  • Understand cross-company business objectives to help establish and maintain strong event marketing presence.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, manage and maintain event marketing budgets and closely manage expenses for listed company, proprietary and partnered events.
  • Partner and collaborate with business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.
  • Identify and communicate areas for improvement including process and cost efficiencies and strategic alignment across departments.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate events management
  • Positive attitude and strong people person
  • Experience in webinar management
  • Demonstrates exceptional understanding of events and customer experience.
  • Exceptional analytic, project management and organizational skills; the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach based on specific audiences
  • Demonstrated success with developing positive relationships with clients, other third parties and internal partners
  • Experience with content creation and agenda development preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary team, able to teach and train junior colleagues
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills

  • Develop creative briefs, content strategies, and campaign concepts that push the boundaries of traditional content formats.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Planning and Pre-Production

  • Write scripts, outlines, and storyboards for video, multimedia content, and experimental formats.
  • Leverage project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to organize workflows and track progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for content projects, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop content capture plans that require minimal footprint and mobile equipment operated by a single individual.

Production

  • Appear on camera and deliver engaging, clear, and concise content.
  • Occasionally operate production equipment including as cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Use software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to make basic edits to video and multimedia content.
  • Create content using mobile first platforms (e.g. Canva, Instagram, TikTok, CapCut).

Publishing and Distribution

  • Collaborate with NYSE teams, including Distribution, Communications, Events, Marketing teams to publish content.
  • Ensure content is optimized for each platform, including best practices for digital environments.
  • Explore innovative distribution methods to increase reach and engagement.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Production, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, production , or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from ideation through delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to develop innovative content.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to streamline workflows.
  • Experience covering financial markets, business, or technology in a journalistic or content creation capacity.
  • Expertise in video production, editing software, and content management systems.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across media and journalists and be at ease speaking daily with media from a range of publications across geographies, time zones and type (e.g. online, broadcast, content).
  • Responsible for crisis communications responses, including crafting timely and effective statements.
  • Manage the NYSE’s communications needs around key events including IPOs, client events and visits from prominent individuals.
  • Write press releases, messaging for interviews and speaking engagements, and social media content.
  • Manage the media following of the NYSE to ensure it has relationships with key followers.
  • Work in close collaboration with the ICE communications, NYSE marketing, social media and events teams (ICE is the parent company of the NYSE).
  • Take a hands-on approach in leading a team of Communications professionals.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a writing-based subject.
