Responsibilities
Ideation and Strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the NYSE and its partnership network to brainstorm and conceptualize content ideas that align with the NYSE's mission, brand identity, and target audience.
- Develop creative briefs, content strategies, and campaign concepts that push the boundaries of traditional content formats.
- Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
Planning and Pre-Production
- Write scripts, outlines, and storyboards for video, multimedia content, and experimental formats.
- Leverage project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to organize workflows and track progress.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for content projects, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Develop content capture plans that require minimal footprint and mobile equipment operated by a single individual.
Production
- Appear on camera and deliver engaging, clear, and concise content.
- Occasionally operate production equipment including as cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
- Use software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to make basic edits to video and multimedia content.
- Create content using mobile first platforms (e.g. Canva, Instagram, TikTok, CapCut).
Publishing and Distribution
- Collaborate with NYSE teams, including Distribution, Communications, Events, Marketing teams to publish content.
- Ensure content is optimized for each platform, including best practices for digital environments.
- Explore innovative distribution methods to increase reach and engagement.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Production, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, production , or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from ideation through delivery.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to develop innovative content.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) to streamline workflows.
- Experience covering financial markets, business, or technology in a journalistic or content creation capacity.
- Expertise in video production, editing software, and content management systems.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and creative skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with LiveU technology, including its mobile app, for live content production.
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin/Korean.
