  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships in particular with the ‘C-Suite’ and Senior Managers
  • Produce accurate revenue forecasting for new business sales and keep an up-to-date pipeline, contacts and visit records in SalesForce CRM system
  • Develop an understanding of, and stay current on, the ICE Data Services products and solutions and their application to the market in Asia Pacific and internationally.
  • Understand make up of client base and assist sales team in putting in place territory plans to meet objective
  • Work with other senior leaders across the globe to drive top line revenue growth.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income and Derivatives or strong background in Financial Institutional markets preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the customer use cases and business
  • Proven track record in quota-bearing roles including successful execution of complex sales and negotiations
  • Accelerate the sales process, generating leads, managing the proposal process, overcoming objections
  • Financial industry or data solutions experience
  • Contacts within the financial services industry and good understanding of Asset Management and Fixed Income Institutional markets in their territory is ideal
  • Strong personal integrity and a confident and positive manner
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency
  • Work effectively in a team-based environment as well as independently
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services (IDS), a leading provider of financial market data, has an opening to support multiple IDS divisions primarily focused on Pricing and Reference data but also Derivatives and Indices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional overall client experience to clients using time-sensitive, mission critical applications.
  • Research, diagnose and respond to client inquiries in an expeditious, thorough and professional manner. This includes both reactive as well as proactive customer support.
  • Thoroughly diagnose technical problems and communicate solutions to customers.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for customer issues, show empathy, and keep the customer informed on the status of all open requests.
  • Gain a deep understanding of ICE Data Services market data products, architecture and customer base.
  • Work closely with Sales, Relationship Managers, Product, Development and QA to serve as the voice of the customer internally and drive resolution of issues.

Knowledge and Experience

  • BA or BSc degree
  • Client service excellence, with a focus on being helpful, fast, reliable, responsive, proactive, friendly, dynamic and professional.
  • Exceptional customer facing communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong aptitude to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English and Japanese is mandatory.

Job Purpose

As a member of the Exchange and Clearing Sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and sales of ICE’s offerings across all its Exchanges and Clearing Houses globally with a special focus on Oil, Petrochemicals and Power.

The role is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing, Sales and Product Development around ICE’s energy business.
  • Develop local/regional efforts to grow the trading and clearing business through direct customer contact, seminars, lead origination and local/regional marketing.
  • Reporting to the Head of Energy Sales, Asia-Pacific and working with the rest of the sales team to acquire and drive opportunities in the regional market.
  • Assist with the management of operational activities across the exchange group, including setting up of client accounts, client connectivity, and items related to ensuring clients can access and trade the Exchange(s)/clear into the Clearing houses.
  • Cross Selling between the Exchange/Clearing business and the Data Services Business.
  • Drive new client acquisition through referrals, personal and professional networks, centers of influence.
  • Manage and develop existing client relationships.
  • Monitoring and reporting on Asian market-share performance and volume trends.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Three to seven years’ of client-facing experience in the financial/commodities space, i.e., banking, clearing, institutional and retail brokerages, exchange and clearing, price reporting agency etc.
  • Working knowledge of Exchange listed Futures/Options and OTC derivatives.
  • Demonstrate a high level of IT competency including advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent customer relationship management, presentation, written and verbal skills.
  • Native Japanese speaker, fluent in English. Fluency in another Asian language a plus.
  • Possess a willingness/ability to work as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters a plus

In this role, the Client On-Boarding Specialist will be responsible for the set-up and management of new and existing client product configurations currently offered by ICE Data Services. This position will liaise with Client Service, Sales, Product Management and IT to ensure clients experience a seamless onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong working relationship with clients throughout the onboarding process
  • Communicate expectations and deadlines to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Ensure product solutions satisfy client needs
  • Confirm product solutions are compliant with external vendor policies
  • Confirm product solutions meet ICE Data Services minimum product standards
  • Manage client test/trial process
  • Create and maintain proper onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate hand-off to client service
  • Provide client demos as needed
  • Maintain accurate client communication records
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are updated on the progress of onboarding progress
  • Communicate enhancement requests as appropriate
  • Escalate issues when onboarding progress is at risk
  • Travel to client sites when necessary

Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrate experience in client service, finance or project management
  • PC skills – ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Outlook, Salesforce, XML, SQL and Unix a plus
  • Tremendous interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Solid customer service skills including excellent business judgment skills
  • Sound ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
